A proposal story, told on the couch
Kareena Kapoor Khan has given fans a new detail from her love story. On The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 Episode 4, she told Kapil Sharma that Saif Ali Khan proposed three times before she said yes. The proposals came in Mumbai, Greece and Paris.
Saif’s take landed as a comedy beat. He joked that Kareena could have saved him a lot of money by accepting the proposal in Mumbai itself, turning a romantic memory into one of the episode’s lighter moments.
Why the episode matters
Joint appearances by a star couple are not everyday streaming TV. Netflix’s talk format thrives on exactly this kind of controlled celebrity disclosure: a romantic story, a husband’s self-deprecating joke and a host who keeps the pace light. It gives Hindi cinema fans a playful glimpse of the couple without crossing into gossip.
