Ramayana leads 10 Bollywood releases in November 2026

Bollywood’s November 2026 calendar is unusually full. According to release schedules published as of October 26, at least ten Hindi films are aiming for theatres this month, spanning mythological spectacle, crime thrillers, rural horror, family drama, and a one-night-out comedy. Most dates cluster in the final two weekends, so ticket planning matters as much as word of mouth.

The big opener: Ramayana: Part One

The month begins with its most ambitious title. Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One is set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, with paid previews on November 4. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi is Sita, Yash is Ravana, Sunny Deol appears as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey plays Lakshman. The music credits bring together A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer, and the film is planned in multiple Indian languages and premium formats.

That scale makes it the frame’s clear anchor. For fans who grew up on the epic, the draw is seeing the story in a large-format, two-part adaptation; for the industry, it is the kind of release that can set the tone for the rest of the month.

The November 20 pile-up

Four Hindi releases are currently listed for November 20, giving audiences very different options on the same weekend:

  • Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak — Sunny Deol as a retired police officer pulled back into a criminal case after an unexpected death; M. Padmakumar directs.
  • Pratap — Amit Sadh and Esha Deol lead an action thriller directed by Sachin Saraf, with plot details still thin.
  • Kaali Kheti — Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar head a rural horror that moved from October 23 to November 20.
  • Party Animals — Viraj Ghelani and Arjun Tanwar play childhood friends whose Mumbai reunion turns into a spiralling night-out comedy; produced by Yoodlee Films.

Earlier in the month, the smaller titles Laagi Chhoote Na (November 13), Little Thomas (November 13) and Section 84 (November 14) add romance, family comedy-drama and a drama thriller with Amitabh Bachchan.

Family romance and action close the month

November 27 brings two contrasting finales. Sooraj R. Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya pairs Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari in a family-oriented romantic drama produced by Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, with music by Himesh Reshammiya. Gunmaaster G9, directed by Aditya Datt, places Emraan Hashmi and Genelia D’Souza in a romantic action thriller about a dairy farm owner dragged into a criminal network, also with Himesh Reshammiya’s music.

The real takeaway for Hindi movie fans is not only which film to choose, but how quickly the calendar can move. The source itself cautions that schedules can change. If you are booking for Ramayana’s opening weekend or planning a double feature on November 20, check official announcements first.
