Panorama Studios Makes It Five Hits in a Row

Panorama Studios extends its run from Drishyam 2 to Dhamaal 4 into five straight hits; trade experts credit a quiet, partnership-first approach.

Panorama Studios Makes It Five Hits in a Row

In an industry where a single hit is hard to guarantee, Panorama Studios has put together a run that the trade is calling one of Bollywood’s most consistent streaks. The production house led by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak has now delivered five consecutive successes, capped by the strong opening of Drishyam The Conclusion.

The streak at a glance

The run spans from 2022 to 2026 and moves across genres and partners.

  • Drishyam 2 (2022) – blockbuster
  • Shaitaan (2024) – super-hit
  • Raid 2 (2025) – hit
  • Dhamaal 4 (2026) – hit
  • Drishyam The Conclusion – opened strongly and is expected to become one of Hindi cinema’s biggest blockbusters

Why the trade is taking notice

Five back-to-back hits is unusual in the Hindi market, and it is the consistency that stands out more than any single weekend. Trade veteran Taran Adarsh described the run as “a huge achievement” in an industry where stringing together successes is difficult. He also pointed to the banner’s low-key style, adding that the Pathak team has avoided hogging the spotlight even after the franchise delivered again.

Atul Mohan made a similar point, saying that the banner has worked quietly and stayed focused on the films rather than the noise around them.

The collaboration playbook

Part of the storyline is how Panorama chooses its allies. For Shaitaan, the studio partnered with Jio Studios. Raid 2 and Dhamaal 4 went with T-Series, while the Drishyam films were backed with Viacom18. That film-by-film choice, rather than a single default partner, is part of what analysts are crediting.

There is also a creative risk embedded in the run. Abhishek Pathak, who directs Drishyam The Conclusion, did not simply follow the Malayalam Drishyam 3 template. He chose to take the Hindi version of the story forward on his own terms, a route the trade sees as harder but ultimately rewarding.

What it means for Hindi cinema

The streak matters because it shows a production model built on franchise selection, low-profile execution and sharp distribution partnerships. It is a reminder that a banner does not have to be the loudest in the room to be the most consistent. For fans, a new Panorama title is becoming a dependable early signal.
