Jailer 2 will not skip Hindi screens. After reports claimed the Rajinikanth sequel would drop its Hindi version, the makers have issued a quick clarification: the Hindi release is on for Thursday, October 15, 2026, alongside all other language versions.
In a statement reported by ANI, the film’s publicist said the Hindi version was “scheduled for a theatrical release on Thursday, October 15, 2026, alongside its other language versions, as originally planned”.
The note also confirmed Pen Marudhar Entertainment as the North India distributor and said there had been “no change to the scheduled Hindi theatrical release”.
For Hindi cinema followers, the clarification matters because a simultaneous release protects the film’s reach and lets North India audiences join the opening-day conversation. Pen Marudhar’s distribution role gives the Hindi version a clear theatrical route.
