Drishyam 3 crosses ₹313 cr in 11 days, Ajay's biggest hit

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has crossed ₹313 crore net in India in just 11 days, making it the biggest box office success of his career. Trade tracker Sacnilk puts the domestic total at ₹313.98 crore after the second Monday, surpassing Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior as his highest-grossing film.

Day 11 stays steady

The crime thriller added ₹4.98 crore net on Monday, with 13,594 shows running across India. The film crossed the ₹300 crore mark on its tenth day, the first time an Ajay Devgn-led title has reached that milestone in net collections.

A second weekend that sealed the record

After a strong opening week, the second weekend gave Drishyam 3 another push:

  • Day 8, second Friday: ₹14.50 crore net
  • Day 9, second Saturday: ₹26.50 crore net across 14,903 shows
  • Day 10, second Sunday: ₹22.50 crore net from 14,872 shows

Sunday was 15.1% lower than Saturday, but the three-day hold was enough to carry the film into record territory.

Why this milestone matters

This is the first film with Ajay Devgn in the lead to clear ₹300 crore net in India. For Bollywood audiences, it is also a marker for the Drishyam franchise, which has become one of Hindi cinema’s most dependable theatrical brands. The third instalment is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who returns to the series, and features Tabu, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Saran and Prakash Raj.

The film is backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios, and co-written by Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh with Abhishek Pathak. Released on October 2, 2026, it is positioned as the concluding chapter of the crime-thriller series. The review in Hindustan Times said the finale has enough drama and nostalgia to keep fans engaged, but added that “the magic of the first Drishyam remains hard to recreate.”

What to watch next

The record is now in place; the challenge is whether weekday business stays steady enough to keep expanding it. With the India total at ₹313.98 crore and a linked report putting the worldwide run past ₹480 crore, the third-weekend hold will show if this conclusion has longer legs at the ticket window.
