Netflix sets a date for international viewers
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, the biggest Bollywood grosser of 2026, has its first streaming date. Netflix will begin streaming Aditya Dhar’s spy sequel on Friday, May 15, in markets outside India, according to a Sacnilk report carried by Goodreturns.
The sequel arrives online with serious box office momentum. After paid previews on March 18 and a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026, the film has collected Rs 1,369.42 crore in India gross, Rs 1,144.21 crore India net, and Rs 1,794.7 crore worldwide, including Rs 426.65 crore from overseas.
India will wait on JioHotstar
For viewers in India, the streaming home is different. JioHotstar holds the domestic OTT rights to the Ranveer Singh starrer, but the platform has not yet confirmed an India premiere date. This is a split OTT window: one platform for India, another for international territories, a model that is becoming common for major Hindi releases.
The film is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios and stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi and Arjun Rampal. It follows an undercover Indian spy who infiltrates a criminal syndicate in Karachi, and it arrives as the sequel to Dhurandhar (2025), the highest-grossing Hindi film of that year.
What to do this week
- Outside India: stream Dhurandhar 2 on Netflix from Friday, May 15.
- In India: keep an eye on JioHotstar, because no domestic date has been announced.
- Box office note: the film has already crossed Rs 1,794.7 crore worldwide before its OTT window.
For Bollywood fans, the streaming split changes the release-day ritual depending on where you log in. The safest move in India is to wait for JioHotstar’s official confirmation rather than expecting the title to appear on Netflix locally.
