Ganesh Acharya, the choreographer Bollywood fondly calls Masterji, is getting a trailer launch most debut directors can only dream of. After the first trailer for Ganesh Dust To Stardust went live, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh and others amplified it with personal notes. The film, written and directed by Acharya, arrives in cinemas on 11 December 2026.
Masterji’s first song with Akshay
Akshay Kumar’s message carried the weight of a long working relationship. He wrote that Masterji’s very first song as a choreographer was with him, and that it makes him happy and proud to see how far his friend has come. A small beginning has become a big milestone, and that is exactly the story the film tells.
Kriti Sanon, who has been choreographed by Acharya on tracks such as Whistle Baja and Param Sundari, called the trailer mind blowing. Vicky Kaushal said he has heard many stories from Masterji while working with him and feels inspired every time. Varun Dhawan praised the direction, saying each frame is beautifully directed and that the story will inspire a generation.

What the film promises
Ganesh Dust To Stardust traces Acharya’s own journey — ambition, perseverance, sacrifice and the determination to overcome challenges. It stars Shivanshu Soni, Alok Shaw, Sukanya Kalan and Sakshi Pawaskar. Presented by V2S Production & Entertainment, it is produced by Soundarya Acharya, with music by Junaid Kumar and lyrics by Sameer Anjaan and Ganesh Acharya.
Why it matters
This is not just another actor-driven release. It is a rare instance of a choreographer-turned-director putting his own life on the big screen. The support from actors across generations shows the equity Masterji has built over decades through songs and dance routines — and it gives the film a word-of-mouth push before its 11 December theatrical release.
For fans, the trailer is the first chance to see how Masterji’s off-camera story becomes an on-screen one. Watch it now and book the date.
