Conjure Reel Files returns for its fourth season with a different kind of fear. In an interview with Filmibeat, actor Zenofar Fatima says the show is built less around ghosts and more around the dark side of the people you think you know.

Zenofar told Filmibeat that supernatural forces may be frightening, but human beings can surprise you more. “I think the real horror is the dark side of human nature,” she said, adding that psychological fear and the secrets people carry are just as frightening as anything supernatural.
The premise, as she explains it, places characters with hidden identities and secrets in a single, confined setting. That pressure, she says, is what finally brings the truth to the surface.
Pressure reveals who people really are
Zenofar argues that difficult situations expose a person’s true character. When life is comfortable, people can pretend. Under pressure, real instincts and intentions begin to show.
