Nayyi Navelli Could Stream Nov 13–Dec 11 on Prime Video

Yami Gautam's Nayyi Navelli is confirmed for Amazon Prime Video. No streaming date yet, but the usual 4–8 week window suggests Nov 13–Dec 11.

Nayyi Navelli could stream Nov 13–Dec 11 on Prime Video

Yami Gautam’s horror comedy Nayyi Navelli opened in cinemas on October 16, 2026, and its posters have already confirmed one streaming detail: Amazon Prime Video is the film’s OTT partner. That gives home viewers a platform to watch for, even though the makers have not announced an official streaming date.

What is confirmed

The theatrical release is on October 16, 2026. Prime Video is attached as the post-theatrical streaming platform. Beyond that, the film’s team has not shared a digital premiere date, so any timeline floating around right now is an estimate rather than an announcement.

When could Nayyi Navelli stream?

In India, films typically move to streaming four to eight weeks after their cinema release. Hindi films commonly follow an eight-week window because of the agreements producers hold with major multiplex chains; some titles do arrive earlier if their distribution arrangements allow it.

If Nayyi Navelli follows that standard pattern, the likely Prime Video premiere window is:

  • October 16, 2026: theatrical release
  • November 13–December 11, 2026: estimated streaming window, based on the usual four-to-eight-week gap

That window is not a confirmed date. The actual premiere will depend on the film’s distribution agreement and a formal announcement from the makers.

The story

Yami Gautam plays Mohini, a successful corporate executive who marries Raja Awasthi (Addinath M. Kothare) and moves to Meerut to begin life with his unconventional family. The trouble starts when Raja’s brother Bantu (Anurag Thakur) begins telling the household that Mohini may be a daayan, or witch.

His bizarre arguments spread suspicion through the family, and Mohini’s true identity becomes the central mystery. It is a setup that could lean into horror, comedy, or both.

Early word

The first review from News18 Showsha is not kind. The film received 1 star out of 5, with the reviewer writing that the film offers “neither the scares of a horror film nor the laughs of a comedy.” That makes the OTT wait a little easier for fans who skipped the theatrical run.

Why the gap matters

For viewers, the window is a waiting period. For the industry, it protects the theatrical run while still promising a streaming premiere within a reasonably short time. Confirming the platform now also saves fans from guessing which app will eventually carry the film.

What to do while you wait

  • Add the title to your Prime Video watchlist so the premiere shows up when it lands.
  • Treat the November–December window as a guide, not a calendar commitment.
  • Wait for an official announcement from the makers before making streaming plans.
