Gurmeet Choudhary is returning to Patna to launch the promotions of Tum Mere Ho, the film that also marks his first outing as a producer. The promotional campaign begins in his hometown ahead of the film’s theatrical release on 23 October 2026.
The production is backed by Reva Creative House and Deb Guru Films, and the team has chosen the city where Gurmeet grew up as the starting point of its publicity tour. For the actor-producer, that makes the visit more than a routine campaign stop.
Why Patna comes first
Gurmeet described the return as an emotional and special moment. He said he grew up in Patna dreaming of making it in Bollywood, and returning as a producer with his first film feels like life has “truly come full circle.” He added that he is in Bihar to seek the love, blessings and support of local audiences.
That personal connection is the point of the launch strategy. Instead of beginning in Mumbai, the team is anchoring its promotional push in a market that carries meaning for its lead and producer, which can help generate regional goodwill and conversations before the wider release.
Patna gives the campaign an emotional anchor. For a film that needs word-of-mouth before its box office run, that is a useful starting point: it connects the title to a local fanbase early and turns the first day of promotions into a homecoming story.
The film at a glance
- Directed by Ashish Panda.
- Produced by Aarti S and Debina Bonnerjee; co-produced by Romanch Mehta and Aman Riyastee.
- Stars Gurmeet Choudhary with Isha Malviya, Anushkaa Luhar and Shaan Grover.
- Releases in cinemas on 23 October 2026.
For fans of Hindi cinema, the milestone matters because it places Gurmeet in the growing group of actors who are now also backing their own films. Tum Mere Ho will test how well he can carry a project both in front of and behind the camera.
The campaign also gives Gurmeet a chance to reconnect with his roots before he presents his first production to audiences. Having built his career in entertainment, he now steps into a behind-the-scenes role without stepping away from the screen.
The Patna launch is expected to bring the film closer to audiences in the region before its October date. The real signal will arrive once the promotional tour reaches more cities and the film opens at the box office.
