Ramayana First-Day Presales Hit Rs 32.53 cr by Noon

Ramayana collected Rs 32.53 crore in India by noon on its first advance-booking day, overtaking Drishyam 3 and trailing only Dhurandhar 2 in 2026.

Ramayana Presales Hit Rs 32.53 cr by Noon, Beat Drishyam 3

The noon number resets the race

By 12 pm on November 3, the first day of advance bookings, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana had collected Rs 32.53 crore in India, according to trade reports cited by Filmibeat. That came from 8.14 lakh tickets sold in a matter of hours.

The figure is bigger than another headline set: Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam The Conclusion had logged Rs 31.65 crore in opening-day presales. Ramayana has now moved past that number before the day’s full count is even in.

Where it sits in 2026

  • Rs 32.53 crore – day-one presales by noon, November 3
  • 8.14 lakh – tickets sold in India by 12 pm
  • Rs 31.65 crore – Drishyam The Conclusion’s opening-day presales, now overtaken
  • Rs 52.35 crore – Dhurandhar 2’s day-one presales, the 2026 benchmark to beat
  • Rs 100 crore+ – worldwide advance booking for the opening weekend, with over Rs 60 crore from India and Rs 40 crore+ overseas

That makes the mythological epic the second-biggest day-one advance booking title of 2026 so far, behind only Dhurandhar 2. For fans, the presale number is the first hard signal of opening-day demand, and Ramayana has started faster than almost everything else this year.

The scale behind the booking

Ramayana is a two-part epic with a reported budget of Rs 2,000 crore. It brings together Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana, with Sai Pallavi, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravi Dubey, Vivek Oberoi, Sunny Deol and Anupam Kher in key roles.

The film releases on November 5 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, and is being dubbed in 40 languages worldwide. Its Los Angeles premiere has already generated strong word-of-mouth ahead of the global opening.

What to watch next

The next data point is not the presale record but the opening-day total. If the noon trend holds, Ramayana has a clear path to challenge Dhurandhar 2’s Rs 52.35 crore presales mark and, more importantly, to convert advance demand into a large first-day number across formats and languages.

For now, the message is simple: Ramayana has entered the box office race with enough momentum to be taken seriously, and November 5 will show whether the ticket windows keep pace.
