Swambhu Media Network names four official producers and limits who can strike deals or speak for Hanuman Ansh after its ₹342-crore India run.

Hanuman Ansh makers warn on rights after ₹342-crore run

Swambhu Media Network has issued a public clarification on who can represent Hanuman Ansh, the devotional hit based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. After an 87-day theatrical run that took the film to ₹342.44 crore net in India and ₹452.86 crore worldwide, the production house has warned that no individual can independently claim authority over its rights, publicity or business decisions.

Four producers, one official door

The company has named Namrata G Singh, Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, Ragini Sona and Anupriya Nagar as the four official producers of Hanuman Ansh. All theatrical, OTT, television, music, gaming and licensing rights in India and overseas are governed by the inter-se agreements signed between these producers.

To avoid confusion, Namrata G Singh and Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi have been appointed the only Executive Directors authorised to handle public relations, marketing, awards and strategic partnerships. The production statement is unambiguous.

“No individual holds that authority.”

Decisions cannot be taken by any one person alone. They must move through the company’s official channels. The producers have also said that any independent agreement, public statement or award claim made without the required approval will not be recognised or considered binding.

What the cast and crew now need

The production house has addressed the film’s cast and crew directly, asking them to seek formal confirmation before making public appearances or speaking about the project. That covers interviews, podcasts, YouTube shows and other promotional platforms.

The company’s list of controlled activity includes:

  • Publicity and marketing commitments
  • Award nominations and claims
  • Business partnerships and commercial rights
  • Theatrical, OTT, TV, music, gaming and licensing deals

Executive Directors Namrata G Singh and Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi explained the intent:

“Hanuman Ansh belongs to Maharaj ji’s devotees across the world.”

Their stated duty is to protect the film and give every partner one clear and verified door to it.

Why this matters after a ₹342-crore run

Made on a reported budget of ₹2 crore, Hanuman Ansh collected ₹342.44 crore net in India and ₹452.86 crore worldwide across 87 days, according to figures shared by Sacnilk. Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film is based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life and follows Lakshminarayan’s spiritual journey to becoming Neem Karoli Baba.

For a small film that has become a global devotional phenomenon, the rights are now the main business. A clear line of authority protects partners, prevents unauthorised licensing and gives fans one verified source for news about the film. The company has warned it will take necessary action across territories against any attempt to misuse the film’s name, credits or intellectual property.

For audiences, the practical takeaway is simple: if an announcement about Hanuman Ansh does not come from the official team, treat it as unverified.
