ZEE5 has announced its November 2026 programming lineup, and the Hindi slate gives viewers a clear marquee title: Last Man in Tower, starring Manoj Bajpayee. The streamer’s announcement spans Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Kannada films and series, but individual premiere dates have not been confirmed for every title.
The Hindi corner
Last Man in Tower adapts Aravind Adiga’s bestselling novel about ambition, morality, friendship and the cost of personal dreams. Ben Rekhi directs, and the cast includes Divya Dutta, Boman Irani, Sukant Goel, Harish Khanna, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Ujjwal Chopra. Sooni Taraporevala handles the adaptation and screenplay, Juhi Chaturvedi writes the dialogues, and Govind Vasantha composes the music. Producers include Rana Daggubati, Ben Rekhi, Guneet Dogra and Pratiksha Rao.
Hindi cinema has been drawing on literary novels for streaming films, and Last Man in Tower fits that pattern: a bestselling source, an ensemble cast, and a team that spans mainstream and independent film. The announcement alone makes it a watchlist title; the date will determine how quickly the conversation starts.
Teen Tigada, directed by Rajeev Raj, is the other Hindi original in the announcement: a youth drama featuring Prasanna Bisht, Shriyam Bhagnani, Chaitanya Sharma, Anubha Fatehpuria, Nitesh Pandey and Raghav Dhir.
Around the languages
The wider slate mixes crime thrillers, family drama, romance and sports. The Malayalam mini-series Sathyameva, produced by Aroma Movies and starring Rony David Raj, is part of the announcement, though details are still awaited. The Telugu film Srimathi, starring Nivetha Thomas and directed by Vishvak Khanderao, follows a woman navigating relationships and unexpected experiences. The Tamil series Octopus, directed by Jayachandra Hashmi, features Ashwin Kkumar, Archana Ravichandran, Vinoth Kishan, Sidhu Kumaresan and Kalaivani.
There is also Nooru Kodi Vaanavil, the music-reality format Thee Kural with Arivu, Yogi B and Sean Roldan as judges, the Marathi situational comedy Afratafri, the Bengali crime and sports thriller Uppercut, and the Kannada romantic drama Corporate Love Story. Children’s shows Bal Barbarik and Bandbudh Aur Budbak 2.0, plus sports programming such as Bundesliga and Serie A, round out the month.
What to do before the dates drop
For Bollywood fans, Last Man in Tower is the title to track: a literary adaptation backed by an ensemble cast and an accomplished writing team. But this is a promotional lineup, not a date sheet. ZEE5 has announced these titles as part of its November programming, while exact streaming dates for many of them remain subject to confirmation.
That is the practical takeaway: add the titles to your watchlist now, and wait for the streamer to confirm the individual premiere date. Monthly slates often arrive first, with calendar dates following, especially when a platform is juggling original films, series and sports properties across languages.
- Hindi highlights: Last Man in Tower and Teen Tigada
- Adaptation pull: Aravind Adiga’s novel, with Sooni Taraporevala and Juhi Chaturvedi on script
- Language spread: Hindi plus six regional industries
- Watch-out: exact premiere dates are not confirmed for every title
For now, Last Man in Tower moves onto the radar before its OTT date. We will update when ZEE5 pins down the calendar.
