The update: Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt stepped out for their first Karwa Chauth as a married couple, joining Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor’s annual celebration in Mumbai on Thursday.
The couple arrived together at the Kapoor residence. Gauri chose a purple sharara suit for the evening, and Aamir wore a deep blue floral kurta with black harem pants. They paused briefly for photographs before heading inside.
A first festival appearance
The evening was their first Karwa Chauth since their wedding at Aamir’s Bandra home on July 5, 2026. Aamir had gone public with the relationship in March 2025, on his sixtieth birthday, when he introduced Gauri to the media. At the time, he shared that they had known each other for around twenty-five years and had only recently begun dating.
Karwa Chauth has become one of those dates on the Bollywood calendar when film families gather around tradition. The Kapoor residence has long been a centre of that ritual, drawing actors who are otherwise busy with schedules and sets.

How Aamir and Gauri got here
On Raj Shamani’s podcast, Aamir later said the two reconnected through mutual connections and that feelings grew gradually. He admitted he had not expected to find love again at this stage of his life. Gauri, who is from Bengaluru, works in beauty and wellness and is also associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. He shares children with both, and he has often spoken about keeping those relationships cordial.
For fans, the appearance matters less as paparazzi content and more as a sign that Aamir is comfortable sharing his new chapter in the spaces where the Hindi film industry has always marked its milestones.
