Kareena Kapoor Khan is returning to the host’s chair for a new season of What Women Want, and the first trailer makes one thing clear: the guest couch is wider and more personal than before.
The season brings together names from across film and entertainment, including Mickey Contractor, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Neetu Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey and Maheep Kapoor. But the exchange already drawing attention is Kareena’s sit-down with Mira Rajput, the wife of actor Shahid Kapoor.
Mira Rajput’s first on-camera conversation with Kareena
In the trailer, Kareena tells Mira, “I think everyone is excited about this.” The moment is being positioned as a first: it marks Mira’s first formal on-camera appearance with Kareena on the show.
Earlier, Kareena had shared a picture from the set on Instagram with the caption, “The absolutely warm and lovely Mira on the show today.” Mira reshared the post, thanked Kareena for having her on the show and shared pictures of her appearance.
Kriti Sanon revisits the GIVA ad row
The trailer also shows Kriti Sanon looking back at the controversy around her GIVA Raksha Bandhan advertisement. She recalls being surprised by the attention her outfit received, and how the discussion eventually reached prime-time television debates. The episode appears to reframe the moment as a larger public conversation about scrutiny and appearance.
What the new season covers
The show looks built around personal conversations rather than straight film promotion. The season appears to cover relationships, celebrity life and personal experiences, along with subjects women continue to discuss.
- Mira Rajput: First formal on-camera sit-down with Kareena.
- Kriti Sanon: Revisits the GIVA Raksha Bandhan ad controversy.
- Guest list: Mickey Contractor, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Neetu Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, Maheep Kapoor and others.
For fans, the Kareena-Mira episode closes a gap: the two have been social media-friendly before but have not had this kind of formal sit-down on camera together. That makes the episode a talking point before the full guest list even gets its turn.
Kareena was recently seen in the investigative drama Daayra, where she and Prithviraj Sukumaran play police officers on opposing sides of a juvenile crime case. The new season of What Women Want brings her back to a conversation-led format with a mix of industry insiders and public figures.
