Shraddha Kapoor’s next big-screen outing is moving from posters to a first full look. The team behind EETHA has confirmed the official trailer will arrive on Friday, 30 October 2026, with the film set for a theatrical release on 4 December 2026.
The promotional note shared with the new posters reads:
बिखरेगा जलवा इस शुक्रवार.
The line, roughly the spark will shine this Friday, points directly at the stage presence of the film’s central character.
A folk-theatre legend gets a mainstream frame
Shraddha plays Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, one of Maharashtra’s best-known Lavani and Tamasha performers. Vithabai is remembered for her contribution to folk theatre, and the film will try to carry that artistic journey to a wider Hindi-film audience. Lavani blends music, rhythm, expressive dance and storytelling, while Tamasha is the state’s popular folk-theatre form. EETHA is being presented as a story of ambition, struggle and artistic legacy, not just a performer’s stage rise.
That is a shift in register for Shraddha Kapoor, whose recent fan base knows her well from romantic comedies and mainstream commercial roles. EETHA should demand a different physicality: folk performance, stage energy and a character transformation rooted in a real artist.
Why the campaign is interesting
The new posters lean on the ghungroo, the anklet bells that are a signature of Indian classical and folk dance. Using that symbol is a clear visual shorthand for the character’s craft and for a film whose music may carry real weight. Ajay-Atul are handling the soundtrack, and their sound paired with Lavani and Tamasha material gives the project a strong musical spine.
Laxman Utekar directs. Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations present the film, with Randeep Hooda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub also in the cast. The film originally had an August 2026 release window before moving to December.

What to do before the trailer
The 30 October trailer will be the first real measure of the film’s visual style and of Shraddha’s transformation. As of now, no OTT release date or streaming platform has been confirmed; that information should be treated as official only when the makers announce it.
For Hindi film fans, this is one to mark in the calendar: the trailer on 30 October, and the theatrical run from 4 December. The full picture on story, performances and music will become clearer once the trailer is out.
