Sharvari and Madhuri Dixit dance to Yeh Prem Mol Liya track

Sharvari dances with Madhuri Dixit to the Yeh Prem Mol Liya title track, passing the Rajshri torch weeks before the film opens on 27 November.

Sharvari Dances With Madhuri Dixit on Yeh Prem Mol Liya Track

The title track of Yeh Prem Mol Liya just got the warmest possible launch pad: a dance between two Rajshri heroines, three decades apart. Sharvari, who will lead Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming family drama, posted a video of herself dancing with Madhuri Dixit, the star many fans still associate with Rajshri’s Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!.

Sharvari described the moment in a star-struck note on Instagram. “Getting to dance alongside my idol feels surreal and soooo special,” she wrote, adding that she felt honoured to receive “this much prem” from “one of the OG Rajshri heroines.” The post ended with the film’s release date: 27 November 2026.

A torch pass, not just a promo

The clip works because it cuts deeper than a routine song launch. Madhuri Dixit has spent decades as shorthand for Barjatya’s brand of cinema: joint families, rituals, romance and dance. By bringing her together with the new female lead, Rajshri is making a generational handover visible.

For Sharvari, the video is also a clever bit of positioning. Instead of introducing her cold, the campaign places her next to a performance icon — the kind of warm, low-stakes moment that lets audiences borrow the affection they already have for Madhuri.

What we know about the film

  • Lead pair: Ayushmann Khurrana as Prem and Sharvari as the female lead
  • Director: Sooraj Barjatya
  • Music: Himesh Reshammiya
  • Ensemble: Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Saumya Tandon, Shaad Randhawa and Swanand Kirkire
  • Producers: Rajshri Productions with Mahaveer Jain Films
  • Release: Worldwide on 27 November 2026

It is Ayushmann Khurrana’s first film with Barjatya. The team has positioned Yeh Prem Mol Liya as a musical family entertainer rooted in Indian festivities, wedding rituals and joint-family dynamics — familiar Rajshri territory, with a fresh cast.

Why this matters for Hindi cinema fans

Rajshri has always built anticipation through music and nostalgia. Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! did not just sell a story; it sold family gatherings, songs and celebration. This title-track dance revives that playbook for an audience that may have never seen the 1994 classic in a theatre but still knows its songs and images through reels and television.

The real test will be the title track itself. A dance video can only carry the film so far; the song and the picturisation have to hold. With Himesh Reshammiya composing and Barjatya’s known fondness for elaborate festive choreography, the material is in a lane Bollywood has historically rewarded.

For now, the clip does its job: it gives Yeh Prem Mol Liya an emotional link to Rajshri’s past while telling Sharvari’s audience where she belongs next.
