SRK’s King Poster Pairs a Gun and a Rose for 24.12.26

Shah Rukh Khan's new King poster shows the superstar with a gun and a rose, repeating the 24.12.26 release date for Siddharth Anand's film.

SRK's New King Poster Pairs a Gun and a Rose

Shah Rukh Khan has sharpened the buzz around King with a new poster that puts two sides of his star image in one frame. The actor shared the look on October 27, 2026, while fans are still waiting for the film’s trailer.

A gun, a rose and a silver-fox look

The new image shows SRK walking forward with a gun in his hand and a rose held between his lips. He wears a rugged open shirt under a jacket and trousers, with the silver-fox hair that has become the campaign’s signature since the first reveal. A fiery backdrop makes the frame feel menacing and hints at the action-heavy world of the film.

Shah Rukh kept the caption simple and loaded. He wrote, Aaj phir yaad aaya…Qaatil nahi… Aashiq hoon… #KING In cinemas 24.12.26. It is a neat character summary: the gun suggests a killer, the rose and the line insist he is a lover. The phrase is also a ready-made hook that fans can repeat across social platforms long before a full trailer drops.

Why this poster matters

King is directed by Siddharth Anand, marking his second collaboration with Shah Rukh after Pathaan. The first reveal had already set the tone by using the superstar’s 60th birthday on November 2, 2025, to introduce him in a silver-haired avatar with a King of Hearts card between his teeth. That clip carried the voiceover: Sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam.

The film also carries a generational hook, because Suhana Khan makes her theatrical debut sharing the screen with her father. Around them, the ensemble is deep:

  • Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji
  • Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Abhay Verma
  • Arshad Warsi and Raghav Juyal
  • Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures

Fans reacted quickly to the poster. One called Shah Rukh The One & Only King of Bollywood!, while another wrote that the Biggest Tsunami is Loading.

The poster is also a reminder of how the film has been positioned from the start: high-stakes action with an old-school romantic charge. The first asset was a title reveal and a voiceover; the second is a striking still. A full trailer would likely expand that promise into set pieces and dialogues.

The road to December 24

The film is scheduled for a Christmas release on December 24, 2026. The trailer is still to be unveiled, which makes this poster the next checkpoint in the campaign. For those tracking the rollout, the contrast of the rose and the gun is a useful signal: expect the familiar fan-friendly romance to sit inside the action universe that Siddharth Anand built with SRK in Pathaan.
