Ahaan Panday and Sharvari’s Beparwah gets March 26, 2027 release

YRF has dated Beparwah, the first Ahaan Panday-Sharvari Wagh pairing, for March 26, 2027, with a first look that pairs a gun with a guitar.

Ahaan Panday and Sharvari's Beparwah locks March 26, 2027

Yash Raj Films has locked a worldwide theatrical date of March 26, 2027 for Beparwah, the first on-screen pairing of Ahaan Panday and Sharvari Wagh. The banner shared the title and first-look poster on October 26, 2026, with Ali Abbas Zafar directing and Aditya Chopra producing.

The announcement matters because it gives Ahaan a second big-screen lead after his debut in Saiyaara, and it hands him a different register. Saiyaara was a musical romance; Beparwah is being positioned as a romantic action drama with a more dangerous edge.

What the first look reveals

The first poster gives the audience very little plot. Ahaan holds a gun, Sharvari carries a guitar, and the two stand close with their foreheads touching, a composition that puts the relationship at the centre of a dangerous frame. The tagline “Fearless in Love” does the rest, telling viewers to expect romance that is not safe from conflict.

YRF has not shared a detailed synopsis, so the poster is functioning as the film’s first statement of intent. The gun-and-guitar imagery also introduces Ahaan in a more action-facing visual than Saiyaara allowed, while the guitar leaves open the question of how strongly music runs through the story.

Why the team stands out

Beparwah brings Ali Abbas Zafar back to YRF, where he earlier directed Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Those films worked because they knew how to combine scale with sentiment; the new title seems designed to place a young pair inside that same template.

  • Ahaan Panday returns to YRF after a debut that won attention for its music and love story.
  • Sharvari works with a new co-star and a director known for commercial, large-canvas cinema.
  • Zafar returns to the banner with a story that promises both action and emotional stakes.

Media reports have also linked Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray to the project, though the announcement does not confirm those names. Zafar’s YRF run matters because those films understood how to combine blockbuster scale with a strong emotional thread. That is the same balance Beparwah appears to chase: a love story placed inside a world of danger, rather than a romance that stays soft.

The long run-up to release

A March 2027 date leaves a long runway for promotion. The next likely steps are casting confirmations, a teaser, and eventually the first music. Since the poster offers a visual promise rather than a plot, the makers can reveal the story in layers, which suits a film that wants to keep its central conflict hidden for now.

Ahaan is also expected to reunite with Aneet Padda and Mohit Suri for another romantic film, though details on that project are still awaited. In the meantime, Beparwah gives fans a clear marker: a new YRF pair, a returning filmmaker, and a worldwide date set for March 26, 2027.
