Yash Raj Films has put a name and a date to its next action-romance. Ahaan Panday and Sharvari will star in Beparwah, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, with a worldwide theatrical release set for 26 March 2027.
The announcement came with a teaser poster: Ahaan and Sharvari stand close, heads touching and faces lowered, so the mood comes from the props. He holds a gun; she holds a guitar. The title is spelled out at the bottom, with the tagline “Fearless in love.”

It is a deliberate mix of action and romance. The gun and guitar side by side, with the tagline, position the film as a love story with real stakes rather than a pure thriller. YRF has confirmed the romantic action-drama in its note.
Why this announcement matters
Beparwah is Ahaan’s first film since Saiyaara, the Mohit Suri romantic drama that crossed ₹570 crore worldwide and became Indian cinema’s highest-grossing romantic film. That sets a high bar for whatever he does next.
For Sharvari, this is a return to YRF after Alpha, the spy thriller that underperformed. She has rebuilt momentum in 2026 with Main Vaapas Aaunga, which earned close to ₹100 crore worldwide. Ali Abbas Zafar, who directed the YRF blockbusters Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, also returns to the banner.

What is next for the leads
Beparwah is the first of two films Ahaan has signed with YRF. The second is an untitled romantic drama that reunites him with Aneet Padda and Mohit Suri. Sharvari will be seen first in Sooraj Barjatya’s Ye Prem Mol Liya, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, on 27 November.
For the audience, the next month is about Sharvari’s return to the family-romance space, while Beparwah becomes the bigger box-office test arriving in early 2027.
