Koffee With Karan’s farewell run moves to its second couch-side pairing tonight. Season 9, Episode 2 premieres on Jio Hotstar at 7 pm on October 21, 2026, with Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda as guests.
The appearance is a first since their February wedding: the couple has not done a joint sit-down of this kind since marrying, which makes tonight’s episode a small milestone for fans tracking the final season.
When and where to watch
Episode 2 streams in full HD on Jio Hotstar at 7 pm. The season opened on October 14 with Salman Khan, so tonight’s episode lands exactly one week into a run that is being treated as the show’s goodbye.
What to expect on the couch
- Rashmika reveals she asked Vijay for a year before marriage, surprising Karan Johar.
- Vijay replies “Nobody” when asked which actor shares the best chemistry with him apart from Rashmika.
- His stated rule for a happy marriage: “agree to the wife.”
The episode is angled toward love, romance and laughter rather than trade talk or industry gossip — a lighter mood that fits a newly married pairing.
Why the final season matters
Koffee With Karan began in 2004 and has spent 22 years getting Bollywood’s biggest names to answer sharp, spicy questions from Karan Johar. The show has produced many iconic couch moments, and Season 9 is framed as the final lap after that long run.
That raises the stakes for every episode. A farewell season can drift into nostalgia, but it also has the pressure to book guests who justify the goodbye. Salman Khan’s opening episode leaned on his superstardom; tonight’s episode leans on a newlywed couple making a rare joint appearance.
For audiences, the appeal remains the same: big stars, close quarters, quick questions and the chance to see reactions before the clips spread online. The show’s move to a 7 pm full-HD drop on Jio Hotstar also makes it a straightforward same-evening watch.
What to do
If you missed the Salman Khan opener, tonight is an easy entry point. Tune in at 7 pm on Jio Hotstar, and expect the conversation to be less about breaking film news and more about the couple’s story and playful banter.
